*Summary of Meeting held on 01-Jun-2019*

As part of the brainstorming discussion, we came up  with below 3 themes for us to work going forward:

1.  *Facilitator of Government Schemes* – Our role will be to reach out to the needy individuals and ensure that the benefits of the relevant government schemes reach out to them.

Ration cards (BPL / APL) and ration distribution
Ujwala
Life / Accidental Insurance
Pension Scheme
Student scholarship schemes
Housing  - Avas Yojana
Various insurance schemes
Jandhan / Mudra Yojana

*2. Partnership between Elected Representatives and Citizens:* Our role will be to take proactive approach and push our representatives to bring more funds for development and monitor the work. The role of our representatives is very critical here.

 *3. Organize Community Events:* Our role is to organize events that would encourage common peoples participation which will mass help and our future generations.

Health Camps
Menstrual hygiene awareness
Plastic menace awareness
Waste Management awareness
Help poor students financially
Clean up drives
Plantation drives

Volunteers in each of the above group need to finalize their prioritize activities and need to do a detailed study on the process, procedures, logistics etc as a first thing before taking up those activities. We may need to involve some subject matter experts till we get a hang of it. 

*Upcoming Activities:*
1.     Health Camp on 15th June 2019 in Vajarahalli Samudaya Bhavan
2.     Plantation Drives on the occasion of World Environment Day. Date, venue etc to be communicated.
